What is the present perfect used for?
The Present Perfect is used to talk about situations thah happened in the past but are relevant in the present, such as experiences.
In the present perfect tense, auxiliaries such as have (I,You,We,They) or has (He, She or It) are used, whose structure would be the following for:
Affirmative sentences: Subject + has/have + verb in participle + complement
Example: - I have worked a lot. - She has eaten fish.
Negative sentences: Subject + has/have +not + verb in participle + complement
Example: -They have not found the shoes.
Interrogative sentences: Have/has + Subject + verb in participio + complement + ?
Example: Have they found the shoes?
If the verb is regular we add the ending "ed" and if it is irregular, the verb is placed in its participle form.
